Ive been moving right along with GTA getting as much playing time as possible with out losing to much sleep. Also I dont wanna piss off the wife cause she knows that I could easily come home and not say two words to her and go right into playing for the rest of the night. Girlfriends, wives, loved ones usually hate or at least dont understand games that involve headsets. Look if I am in a intense shoot out and pinned behind a car trying to get the hell outta of there all while getting some kills in, in the mean time your lady is trying to talk to you and all you hear is the sounds that the adults made in the Peanuts cartoons. Then you look at her and say “what Im sorry i didnt hear you??” Well that is unacceptable in their world (which I understand the fact of being ignored) Little do they know that there are 6 dudes on the other end of the mic screaming and I cant really make out anything that anyone is saying on either end. Either way headsets + girlfriends = trouble

Sorry its been a while since ive posted but anyway. This last sunday I was coming off a pretty mean saturday nite casue I had attended a friends bachlor party and helped with dusting the keg of Newport Honey Blonde. The party on saturday was a big success and everyone had a great time and made it home safe. But anyway…..Sunday Chach came over to my house to drop off my car and I gave him a ride home. We decided to stop at Carls Jr. I order my favorite thing there the western bacon cheese burger. Now Chach orders a $6 burger with double bacon and double cheese and on top of that gets a 99cent spicy chicken sandwich. Now he then takes the patty from the spicy chicken sandwich and puts that on top of the patty on the $6 burger. DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMN!!!! Ok so I have this game, well at least the Japanese import of it and its classic Mario Kart fun. Tight controls no matter how you slice it. As much as I like using the classic controller cause its easier I use the steering wheel controller cause isnt that what the Wii is all about?? I have not made it too far into the game or gone online yet cause its hard to navigate through the menus when you dont speak japanese. (figure)

What I have played so far is through the cups and I must say they didnt fuck this one up at all. I dont know what anyone was talking about on the graphics cause the game runs smooth and plays and handles just the same. There are return of some classic tracks on here and I have not unlocked everything in the game or am even close to it. Will post more as I roll along. They pushed back the release date of the game here in the good ole US of A so I wont have that game till next week. But for now im gonna try and get by with the Japan version. ;(

Man another day closer to the release of GTA4 and I am determined to find this thing early, which I think I will. (gotta visualize it people) Lakers play again tonite and I think if we dont come out flat and get someone on that foreign fuck Claiza we should be good to go. Im not gonna rant too much about the Lakers. Im really diggin the NOFX Backstage Passport on FUSE make sure you catch this show for anyone that reads this blog. Angels blow it AGAIN in Boston. They have are fucking number and they are just a good team. IM here at work as i write this and I think I want a cup of coffee. Its lunch time and we were thinking In and Out but that place ALWAYS has a fucking line??? I understand its good but it seems like you go to is the only IN and Out around and everyone is there to get a shake. That just sucks.

Well needless to say I did celebrate it proper by busting out the old gravity bong and I almost fell over after taking two in a row. I had to take a seat on the couch for a second. Once I was right in the head me and Chach continued to RALLY the shit out of No Fear the pinball machine. Went out to Tuna Town that night with my lady and had one of the best experiences at that place. The chef that was making things for us was amazing. He asked us if we wanted to order off the menu or if he could just make things for us. We picked the later and man did it pay off. Cant wait to go back there again to the same chef. Will post more I cant stop thinking about GTA and 80’s tee shirts

Wow its been one heck of a year. If you would of told me at the beginning of this year that we would be fighting for top seed I would of laughed at yah. But with Gasol here and Kwame gone (has he done anything since he left??) that was a turning point for the lakers. BUT dont forget they were doing good and playing competitive ball prior to Pau coming to the team. With the addition of Pau its just makes the team that much more special. I think this really helped out everyone ESPECIALY Lamar Odom. What a way to take pressure off a guy who doesnt want to be a “star” player but comes to play every night. He has been rebounding like a machine and is in the top 20 in shooting percentage in the NBA!!! Mind you Gasol is currently 15 : ) Tonite the Lakers are going against the Kings and these guys ALWAYS come to play cause they want nothing more than to spoil our last game. So Artest I hope you got your hair clippers out and shaved something in your head like trade me or 38-43 YOUR RECORD!!! Can the Lakers clinch this number one seed?? I think we can!! GO LAKE SHOW!!!

We almost blew it tonite but hung in there. Clinched the division. I would post more thoughts but I dont feel so hot at the moment. What means more points or assists….I hope Kobe gets the MVP

Wow what a great show. My girl and I drove up to Los Angeles got to Hollywood and we were starvin. We went over to Mels Drive In Diner and ate some great food over there. I got the sunset burger and my chick got the french dipp. Our waitress was so cool as we had no money for parking and she let us put a extra 3 bucks on the tip and she gave us back 3 bucks cash to pay for parking. (thanks again)

Got to the show about a hour before RJD2 was gonna perform. So my girl and I killed some time watching the opening act who were two cats from Jersey. Not really my cup of tea but they had alot of energy and the beats were half way decent. Their set ends and on comes RJD2 who started with a set on his turntables. Which was a mix up of Deadringer and Since We Last Spoke. His set up consited of 2 tables and MPD Pad but his MPD pad was nothing like I have seen before. Here is a picture of what im talking about

Now his MPD pad had a very dope flavor to it as the pad was a replica of a screen shot from the orginial donkey kong!!! Amazing I tell yah. Will try to find pics of video and post it. Moving right along his video show that was projected behind him was dope clips of all different gun fights from like the matrix, true romance, boondock saints and even some clips from EVIL DEAD 2. After about 20 mins of turntables he went over to a keyboard/synthesizer and decided he was gonna do a interlude using the Zelda Theme!!! More stuff right up my alley. The next thing I know RJ grabs a guitar and breaks into Since We Last Spoke with his buddies on drums, bass and keyboard. The audience was pleased cause after that we got more live perfomace RJ with the next song being Through The Walls which he did the vocals on and nailed them by the way. Then he was back over to the tables rocking those to a full live band. Incredible I tell you. His drummer was great thats all I gotta say.

Needless to say there were 4 interludes where RJ would play a video game tune. We got Zelda, Ghouls and Ghosts Theme, Donkey Kong Theme and the final one to close the show was Super Mario Bros Theme. He played everything the crowd wanted to hear from Ghostwriter to the Horror and many many more. Ghostwriter I have to say was great cause he had someone doing the guitar loop on a acoustic guitar and lives drums and the crowd filled in the oooohs and ahhhhhs in the song. Great Vibe!! The show ended but the crowd wanted more and my girl looked at me and says he isnt gonna play Making Days Longer?? This is her and I’s song in a sense and we really wanted to hear it. So he comes back out onstage and its kinda quiet so I yell out MAKING DAYS LONGER!!!!!! He looks at me says “FUCKING DONE” and breaks into a acoustic version of making days longer…..WE WERE PLEASED!!!

Its 9:22 Im gonna go upstairs and rock some EA boxing to continue my quest for meaningless achievement points over xbox live. Although I did read some where that xbox did give a free game to people with a score over 10,000. Glad I have over 11 : ) Lakers are losing bad to portland again…I posted about them before…damn I hate the trailblazers. Angels are winning and its going into the 8th inning. Anyway im sippen on a coors light and am gonna go upstairs…peace
